This may not just be a problem when you sing but also in your everyday life. If you have shoulder and neck tension, you're probably not aligned properly. Check your posture frequently and make sure you don't keep any muscles tensed up. Align your neck so that your head is not shifted forward, which is an automatic motion we all do when we look at our screens.
When you sing, your posture can only be as good as it is in everyday situations. So whenever you sit, stand, walk, or go for a walk, check your posture and alignment. It will change your life.
